With public appearances taking a large chunk of the tasks awarded to the winners of the Miss beauty pageants, winners of Miss U.S.A and Miss Teen U.S.A have been helping push the image of the pageants by attending various events.

The end of August saw the pair attend events such as pre MTV music award parties and rub shoulders with celebrities such as actor David Borenez and tennis star Maria Sharapova.
