It was a year of smiles and fun as Miss Teen U.S.A 2005 saw the crowning of Allie La Force.
The ceremony took place in Louisiana and followed a similar style to that of previous years. The build up saw all the contestants performing a dance on stage with last years Miss Teen U.S.A introducing events at end of the performance.
The 40 contestants were soon broken down to 15 who went through to the next round and appeared in their evening gowns. The swimsuit parade came next and the 15 were then reduced to 5 by the judges.
The final part of Miss Teen U.S.A 2005 saw questions being posed to the 5 finalists and there responses were used to choose the final winner.
The final three were Miss Ohio, Miss West Virginia and Miss Michigan. These three were reduced to two leaving a gigglish Miss Ohio and Miss Michigan with Miss Ohio being crowned as the pageant winner a few moments later.
Again it seemed like fun was the key to the contestants success and those who seemed to be having a good time whilst the proceedings were underway managing to progress easily through the competition.
The choice of clothing did seem to play an important part in Miss Teen U.S.A 2005 and those attempting to push the boundaries such as Miss Michigan, who had extensions on her evening gown which she twirled whilst on stage, did well during the evening.
In terms of variety, many of the evening gown appearances were similar with more changs made to the coreography of the swimsuit parade with many adding different twist and twirls whilst they were on stage.
Miss Teen U.S.A 2005 featured special guest performances by Aaron Carter and Kimberly Locke.
